Cancellation Policy

    • To qualify for a make-up credit, please give at least 6 hours notice. Log in to the Acuity Scheduling to cancel/reschedule.

    • When you cancel with at least 6 hours notice, you receive a make-up credit which is valid for 30 days after your cancelled lesson. After 30 days, unused make-up credits expire and the tuition is forfeited.

    • If you give less than 6 hours notice, you do not qualify for a make-up credit and the tuition is forfeited.

    • If your teacher ever needs to cancel a lesson, they will give you as much notice as possible.

    • Your teacher will cancel on Acuity Scheduling and you will receive a notification email and/or text.

    • Your teacher will also send you a personal email and/or text.

    • You will automatically receive a make-up lesson credit that is valid for 30 days after the cancelled lesson.

  • There are 3 ways to use your make-up credit:

    1. You can book a make-up lesson with your teacher via Acuity Scheduling.

    2. You can book a make-up lesson with a substitute teacher via Acuity Scheduling.

    3. In leui of a make-up lesson, you can use your make-up credit to sign up for a group class or group jam session via Acuity Scheduling.

  • We always make exceptions to our cancellation policy in the case of family emergencies and inclement weather.

Monthly Tuition Policy

    • Four lessons a month at your designated weekly lesson day/time

    • Access to Acuity Scheduling for viewing past/upcoming lessons, canceling/rescheduling lessons, booking make-up lessons & group classes, drop-in classes, and jam sessions.

    • Student participation in Earth Song performance events

    • Your monthly tuition payment is due on the 1st of every month of the school year (9/5/23 - 5/31/24)

    • Tuition invoices are sent via email and automatically send 10 days prior to the due date.

    • Payment is made securely online through the invoice. We accept credit cards and ACH bank transfers.

    • We are sorry for an inconvenience, but we are not accepting paper checks this school year.

    • Yes! You can set up auto-pay through your invoice.

    • We can not issue refunds for missed or cancelled lessons.

    • Please see our cancellation policy above for information about make-up credits.

    • We understand that sometimes there are extenuating circumstances. We are open to making exceptions when it’s appropriate. If you are in this position, please contact Jess at info@earthsongmusic.org

    • We kindly ask that students give at least 2 weeks notice if they need to withdraw from lessons mid-year. We are happy to issue a refund for prepaid tuition if we are given at least 2 weeks notice. We can not issue a refund if we are given less than 2 weeks notice.

  • If you give us at least 2 weeks notice, we are happy to prorate your invoice in the case of planned vacations. If less than 2 weeks notice are given, we can not prorate your invoice.

  • Yes! If there are ever circumstances where a holiday interfers with our 4-lessons-a-month schedule, you automatically receive a non-expiring make-up credit to use for a make-up lesson, sub lesson, or group class. If this happens, Jess will send out a reminder email with links to booking your make-up credit.

How we use Acuity Scheduling

    • We will book your weekly school year lessons in Acuity Scheduling. You will be able to view your past & upcoming appointments in the app. You can also cancel/reschedule, and book various classes like make-up lesson, make-up classes, drop-in classes, and drop-in jam sessions.

    • Every new student/parent/guardian must register for a free client account with Acuity Scheduling.

    • After scheduling your weekly lesson day/time, Jess will send you instructions for creating your client account.

  • Once registered, you will be able to use the Acuity Scheduling App to view your past/upcoming lessons, cancel/reschedule lessons, book make-up lessons, make up classes, drop-in group classes, and drop-in jam sessions.

Can I withdraw from lessons mid-year?

We totally understand that things change! Students can withdraw from lessons mid-year. Please email Jess at info@earthsongmusic.org to notify us with at least 2 weeks notice. If we are given less than 2 weeks notice, the tuition for any pre-paid lessons is forfeited.
