• Opus1 is our online scheduling & payment platform.

• Each student/parent has an account portal where you can view your lesson schedule, cancel/reschedule lessons, view/use make-up lesson credits, and pay tuition online via auto-pay.

• If you already have an account set up, click here to login to Opus1 anytime.

• If you’re a new student, you will be prompted to create your account when you register online.

• To qualify for a make-up credit, please give at least 6 hours notice. Please log in to your Opus1 account to cancel.

• When you cancel with at least 6 hours notice, you receive a make-up lesson credit which is valid for 30 days after your cancelled lesson. After 30 days, unused make-up credits expire and the tuition is forfeited.

• If you give less than 6 hours notice, you do not qualify for a make-up credit and the tuition is forfeited.

• If your teacher ever needs to cancel a lesson, we will give you as much notice as possible.

• We will cancel on Opus1 and you will receive a notification email.
  

• You will automatically receive a make-up lesson credit that is valid for 30 days after the cancelled lesson. If rescheduling is not possible within 30 days, we are always open to making exceptions and extending this timeline when it's appropriate.

There are 2 ways to use your make-up credit:

• You can book a make-up lesson with your teacher via Opus1 by going into your profile and clicking "Use" on a credit to select a day/time.

• You can book a make-up lesson with a substitute teacher via Opus1 by going into your profile and clicking "Use" on a credit to select a day/time.

We always make exceptions to our cancellation policy in the case of emergencies.

If we need to reschedule lessons due to inclement weather, you will receive a rescheduling email from Jess with as much notice as possible. Make-up credits are always given in the case of cancellation for inclement weather.

• Four lessons a month at your designated weekly lesson day/time. (This policy ends on 5/31/26. Please see below for new policy starting 6/1/26.)

• Starting on 6/1/26, your monthly tuition invoice is automatically prorated to reflect the exact number of lessons you have scheduled per month (typically 3-5 lessons per month). For example, Thursday students in November may only have 3 lessons due to Thanksgiving, so their November tuition invoices will be for the cost of 3 lessons only.

• Access to Opus1 for viewing past/upcoming lessons, canceling/rescheduling lessons, booking make-up lessons & group classes, drop-in classes, and performance sign-ups.

• Student participation in Earth Song performance events

• Student participation in Earth Song community events

• Performance photography with Dylan Eddinger Photography

• Your monthly tuition payment is due on the 1st of every month via auto-pay with Opus1.
  

• Payment is made securely online through the invoice in Opus1. We accept credit cards and ACH bank transfers.

• Auto-pay is the default setting in Opus1. Once you add your payment method, you’re all set. If you do not want auto-pay turned on, please contact Jess at info@earthsongmusic.org

• Yes! Once you add your payment method to Opus1, auto-pay will be enabled by default.

• Tuition rates vary by teacher and lesson duration.

There is a one time $10 sign-up fee for new students.

• We can not issue refunds for missed or cancelled lessons.

• Please see our cancellation policy above for information about make-up credits.

• We understand that sometimes there are extenuating circumstances. We are always open to making exceptions when it’s appropriate. If you are in this position, please contact Jess at info@earthsongmusic.org

• We kindly ask that students give at least 2 weeks notice if they need to withdraw from lessons. We are happy to issue a refund for prepaid tuition if we are given at least 2 weeks notice. We can not issue a refund if we are given less than 2 weeks notice.

If you give us at least 2 weeks notice, we are happy to prorate your tuition invoice in the case of planned vacations.
